I moved to Brevard County in 1990 to start my career as an Engineer. I was very excited about my move to Florida and quickly discovered why they call this area “The best kept secret in Florida!” I have lived in Palm Bay, Melbourne, and then finally moved to the Beachside to accommodate our biggest hobby – we are avid boaters. Regardless of where you choose to live along the Space Coast, I think of all the cities and towns as “little bedroom communities” that are small enough to know your neighbors, yet large enough to meet your needs.
I have lived in Satellite Beach / Indian Beach for the last 15 years and love the laid-back attitude it has to offer. Driving over the causeway to home just makes you feel good! My family and I love everything that has to do with water – even lived on our boat for 3 years after our children moved out and we plan to live on our boat again to travel once we retire. We are very social, active in the community and will always be there with a helping hand. If you see us, please say hi.
From a business perspective, I continued to work my way up into executive leadership positions in multiple roles giving me the corporate experience necessary to succeed in where my heart drives me. Which brings up my interest in real estate. Believe it or not, it started when I was a teenager. My first choice of profession was to be an architect (in Jr. High School), but in High School, when I really start to investigate, I realized that most architects focus on commercial and my love was residential design so I started looking at other career choices and decided on Engineering – I love to design and build things.
I never really gave up on loving to architect homes and designed our first new home - the architect even placed on the blueprints for the staircase design – “field design with Beth”. Since then, I have gutted and remodeled homes we have lived in, designed and installed kitchen for myself, family and friends which is why real estate has always been near to my heart.
After 27 years full time in Corporate America, I decided to get my Real Estate license – follow my heart. I had sold a few of my homes and family’s homes FSBO, but always realized the value that a Realtor provides. You need to understand the contracts and have someone that can assist in the negotiations and fix issues as they arise. I have counted on my team lead, Lourdes Sliwa, for many years as she also helped me sell and buy a few of our homes through Properties.
After getting my real estate license, I joined Properties, Coastal Home Team. Our team environment has helped kick start my career. I love what I do and who I work with – we have a very supportive group. I know that buying and/or selling real estate can be an emotional and daunting task for some people. Our team strives to make the process smoother for each and every client by sharing our knowledge, letting them know what to expect and providing them any resources they need.
Although I am fairly new as a licensed Realtor, I understand the real estate business through true experience from both the buyer’s and seller’s side. I always look forward to meeting new people and I am honest, dedicated, patient, knowledgeable and professional. Please give me a call or email me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
